What PicYep is
PicYep is an AI photo generator that runs in the browser. It makes realistic photos from a sentence, from photos you add, or from both: headshots, selfies and portraits, Christmas and other holiday photos, pet portraits, couple photos, and group photos from up to 16 photos, one of each person. It also changes a photo you already have, such as adding a Santa hat, and can enlarge a finished photo, remove its background, extend it or turn it into a short clip.
It works on a phone, a tablet or a computer, in English, Chinese and German. There is nothing to install.
PicYep is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to ByteDance, Google, or any other AI model provider referenced in the product.
How a photo is made
Your request, with its prompt, its settings and the reference photos you added, is sent to fal.ai, which runs AI models made by Google, OpenAI, ByteDance, Black Forest Labs and Anthropic. The cost of each photo in credits is shown on the button before you send it, and a request that ends without a photo gets its credits back automatically.
How your photos are handled
- Your photos, your prompts and your reference photos are visible only in your account. Nothing is published unless you turn on a share link for a photo.
- PicYep does not train AI models on your prompts, photos or results, and does not sell them.
- A phone photo has its location and other camera details removed in your browser before it is uploaded.
- Photos you make stay in your library until you delete them. A deleted photo can be restored for 30 days and is then removed for good.
- Reference photos are kept with the photo they were used for and are removed with it. You can also remove one yourself at any time.
- You can export your data and delete your account yourself from your profile settings.

Payments and refunds
New accounts start with free credits, and no card is needed to sign up. After that, credits come with a monthly or yearly plan or a one-time credit pack; the prices are on the pricing page. Payments are handled by Waffo, the Merchant of Record for purchases, and PicYep never stores full card numbers. The Refund Policy explains when credits are returned and when a payment is refunded.
The photos you make are yours to use for personal and commercial work, with no watermark.
How the examples on this site are made
Every example photo on PicYep was made on the site, with the description and the settings shown beside it, and is shown as it came out, with nothing retouched. The people and pets in the photos they were made from are AI-generated, not real.

PicYep is built and run by the PicYep company.
