PicYep Team

The people who build PicYep and test every model it offers. We write about the photos you can make with AI and publish our test results in full, failures included.

How we test

Every test runs on PicYep itself, the way a visitor would use it: the same models, settings and prices anyone gets.

  • Every model gets the same input photos, the same description and the same settings, and we keep every result, including the ones that went wrong.
  • The people and pets in our input photos are AI-generated, so no real person's face is used.
  • Each photo is checked against a written list, and where something can be measured, such as how much of the original changed or how close a face stays to the input, we measure it.
  • Each post says when it was tested. When models change, we run the tests again and update the date.
